CHS Fundraising Project

Jeff Raspe came across the CHS fundraising project described below. If you are interested in contributing towards a paver in memory of Bryn Lewis, please use the Donate form to the right. A suggested donation is $10, but you can contribute any amount you wish.

The Cresskill Education Foundation (CEF) is offering the community an opportunity to become a part of the foundation of our future with an engraved paver permanently installed in the front courtyard at the Middle/High School. Pavers make a very special gift for:
• A family with students in the district
• a CHS alumnus
• a former/retired Teacher, Administrator, Board member
• a great remembrance for an achieving sports team, school play
• a wonderful way to remember one of Cresskill’s first families who have had generations graduate from our district.
Plus all the paver proceeds support the district technology initiative.

The funds raised from this project will support the Technology Initiatives K-12 (smartboards, video cameras, laptop carts, audio equipment, etc).

Thanks to Jeff Raspe for picking the location. Thanks to Catherine Silvers for preparing the slide show. Thanks to all committee members and everyone that helped make this reunion a success.

The location was chosen because it was centrally located and convenient to public transportation. The time was chosen so we would have more time together. A buffet was chosen to have a variety of food. An open bar was chosen, well, you know why!

Class Reunion set for October 3, 2009

Our 25th class reunion is scheduled for October 3 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at J.J. Bitting Brewing Company, 33 Main St. Woodbridge, NJ 07095. It is centrally located and close to various forms of public transportation. The website is http://www.njbrewpubs.com

The evening will be more casual than our last reunion. It will include a dinner buffet and 3-hr open bar (beer and wine) The cost is $50 per person. Use the form to the right of the screen to register via PayPal.

The menu is:

• House Salad with a selection of homemade dressings
• Stuffed Chicken Piccata (Tender chicken breasts stuffed with Proscuitto and mozzarella cheese and served with a mushroom garlic wine sauce)
• London Broil (Tender Slices of Beef with Sautéed Mushrooms in a Delicious Demi Glace Sauce)
• Perfect Penne Pasta (Penne pasta, fresh plum tomatoes, aged Romano cheese and sautéed fresh spinach in a garlic wine sauce)
• Rosemary and Garlic Potatoes
• Sautéed Seasonal Vegetables
• Assorted Breads and Rolls.
• Coffee, Tea, Soda, and non-alcoholic beverages

The 3-hour open bar starts at 4:00 and is for beer and wine only, but there will be a cash bar for other drinks.
